     The institute seeks to impart management education in an intensely participative manner. Besides conventional teaching methods like lectures, case studies, group discussions & presentations, a practical orientation is given through role-plays, industrial visits and project work. Students are encouraged to aquire skills to use state-of-the-art tools of Information Technology.


                         



                                                                             Library

     VJIM library offers an excellent collection of books and magazines on management and other related subjects.The library has a collection of over 8,500 books to which 500 are added every year. In addition, VJIM subscribes to more than 115 periodicals, both National and International. The library is computerised. A wide spectrum of Corporate and economic information is provided through a collection of Company Annual Reports and Economic Intelligence Service Reports of "Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE)". VJIM is an institutional member of British Library, National HRD Network, All India Management Association and Hyderabad Management Association. The library is accessible even after college hours and is open for approximately 55 hours a week.

                       
                                                                   

                                                                    Computer Centre


     Computer Center is well equipped with a state-of-art Local Area Network (LAN), providing multi-user environment (60 terminals) on Windows 2003 platform. Facilities include contemporary packages like Microsoft Office Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Publisher), Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), TORA for Operations Research, Integrated Accounting Package (TALLY), Business Planner and Microsoft Project . Facilities are also provided to work on Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE), Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)-Oracle, Visual Studio and MSDN Library, etc. The curriculum encourages interactive use of computers as an integral part of the learning process. Free internet facilities (on Broadband) are provided.

                        

                                                           Theme-based Workshops

     Special 2-day workshops are regularly conducted to enable focussed learning. These workshops are also used to integrate multi-disciplinary learning.
